Mr. Olek focuses his practice on business formation, including companies, such as Limited Liability Companies (LLCs); partnerships, such as Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs); and corporations. He also advises businesses and entrepreneurs on entity and internal organizational structure, financing options, contract negotiation, and general business planning. Mr. Olek also has experience in the areas of trust and estate planning, and trademark law.

Mr. Olek has consulted with clients in a wide range of specialties that include the medical industry, the entertainment industry, and three dimensional printing. He has guided clients through the start-up phase, routine business practices, buy-sell agreements, and merger and acquisition negotiations.

Mr. Olek has appeared on WBFO’s “You and the Law” to discuss entrepreneurship and limited liability companies. He has also lectured at the Food Truck Law continuing legal education seminar.Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Olek attended Syracuse University, where he earned degrees in Political Science, and History. He returned to Buffalo, and graduated from The University at Buffalo Law School.

Mr. Olek is a member of the Erie County, and New York State Bar Associations. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, and Lawyers for Learning.

Prior to joining the Tarantino Law Firm, Mr. Olek was an associate attorney at Kloss, Stenger & LoTempio. During law school he interned at the New York State Attorney General’s Office, and Cooke & Steffan Law Firm. Mr. Olek currently resides in the Elmwood Village.
