Ms. Cline received her Bachelors of Arts in legal studies with a minor in business from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993. During her undergraduate career and the years that followed, Ms. Cline worked in several law firms in various support positions, gaining experience in the areas of large toxic tort cases, personal injury and medical malpractice. She attended her first year of law school at Cleveland Marshall College of Law where she received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Property and the West Group Corpus Juris Secundum Award in Property. Thereafter, Ms. Cline transferred to the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1999, and she was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Cline served a judicial clerk internship with Honorable William M. Skretny at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York during the summer of 1997. In the fall of 1997, Ms. Cline was admitted to the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal and served as a book review editor in 1998-1999. Ms. Cline joined Brown & Tarantino, LLC, in January,1998.


Ms. Cline concentrates her practice in the area of insurance defense litigation with a focus on medical malpractice claims, labor law and construction accidents, premises liability, as well as toxic tort claims. Ms. Cline also has experience defending physicians and providers who are the subject of investigation by the NYS Office of Professional Medical Conduct. Ms. Cline further practices in the area of employment and labor on matters affecting both employers and employees. She has experience with claims involving unequal pay and promotion, sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation under federal, state and local laws on the basis of age, race, sex, disability, sexual orientation, sexual and racial harassment and wage and hour violations. She has experience assisting employers and employees with administrative charges filed with both the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the NYS Division of Human Rights. Ms. Cline is admitted to practice in New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar, Erie County Bar Association, and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Cline has been selected for inclusion in New York State Super Lawyers since 2018.
