Three new attorneys join The Tarantino Law Firm, LLP

The Tarantino Law Firm, LLP continues its pursuit to offer clients zealous advocacy both inside and outside the courtroom. Our most recent step to continue to meet this goal involves the addition of three attorneys to our team. We welcome Erica R. Sikorski, Justina L. Potenzo and Jacob A. Piorkowski to our expanding team of skilled attorneys. Each of these lawyers bring the education and experience necessary to offer outstanding representation and service to our clients.

Erica R. Sikorski has joined our Medical Malpractice Defense Group. Ms. Gasiewicz was most recently part of a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Sharon M. LoVallo, Erie County Family Court and interned with the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo. In addition to providing counsel for medical malpractice issues, she will also practice general civil litigation, including representation for cases involving construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. Ms. Gasiewicz is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo and SUNY Buffalo Law School.


Justina L. Potenzo has joined our Employment Law Practice. Ms. Potenzo was most recently handling insurance litigation defense cases as well as estate planning and workers’ compensation matters. She also has previous experience as a director of Human Resources prior to pursuing law. At The Tarantino Law Firm, she will combine these two experiences to focus on providing representation in employment and labor matters that affect both employers and employees. Ms. Potenzo is a graduate of Buffalo State College and SUNY Buffalo Law School.


Jacob A. Piorkowski has joined our Business Law Practice. Mr. Piorkowski has represented both small and large businesses in various legal matters, including corporate formation, business purchases and sales, and contract litigation. He also has experience guiding clients in the restaurant and bar industries through legal matters that involve the New York State Liquor Authority. He will use this expertise with the Business Law Practice while also providing representation for personal injury disputes. Mr. Piorkowski is a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and received his undergraduate education at The College at Brockport. He also has a Master’s Degree in History from The College at Brockport.
